In recent years, a progress of the power
semiconductor devices (below called "power
devices") is significant and its fundamental
performance such as switching-speed and power
capacity has been improving. From this reason,
the high-frequency switching technique was
applied to the power conversion system. By
applied this technique, enhancing control
performance, noise reduction, down-sizing
could be realized. On the other hand, switching-losses,
dynamic electrical stress and EMI/RFI noise
were increased. There were big problems which
is should be solved in order to achieve high-performance
and high conversion efficiency. Hence, the
soft-switching technique is proposed as one
of methods for solving these problems. This
technique has attracted attention. Therefore,
the power conversion system using this technique
have been investigated. Conventional high-frequency
AC link DC-DC converter using phase-shifted
PWM control scheme (below called "conventional
DC-DC converter") has remarkable advantages,
such as lowered switching losses, simple
control schemes, and reduced EMI/RFI noise.
However, its had some inherent problems which
must be solved, such as reduced power conversion
efficiency due to significant circulating
current generation. So we proposed before
high-frequency AC link DC-DC converter using
secondary phase-shifted PWM controls scheme
(below called "proposed DC-DC converter")
and its effectivity was confirmed by simulation
analysis. In this paper, its open-loop and
closed-loop control characteristics are estimated
by means of simulation results.
