ロボカップは、ロボット工学と人工知能の発展のために

自律移動ロボットによるサッカーを題材として、

日本の研究者によって提唱された競技です。

ロボット工学や人工知能の研究を推進し、人間社会に役立つ

ロボット技術を育成することを目的とした

国際プロジェクトです。

「西暦2050年までに、人間のサッカーの世界チャンピオンチームに

勝てる自律型ロボットチームを作る」という目標を掲げています。

ロボカップは、シニアリーグ(20歳以上)とジュニアリーグ(19歳以下)に

分けられます。各々にサッカー、レスキュー、ダンス部門があります。

電工部は、ロボカップジュニアリーグのサッカー部門に出場しています。

Robocup is a competition advocated for the development of robot engineering and artificial intelligence on the soccer game among autonomic soccer robots.  It was originally proposed by Japanese researchers, but  now it is indeed an international project to promote robot engineering and artificial intelligence, and foster the technology of robot which is useful for human society.

Robocup’s goal is “Making autonomic robots’ team which will be able to win the human world champion team by 2050”.

Robocup has two leagues, one for senior(older than 19 years old)  and the another for junior(younger than 20 years old).

Each league has the department of soccer, rescue and dance competition.

EEE’s robots play in the department of soccer in the junior league of Robocup.
