授業の概要と方針			前期：（1）科学技術英語の基本的な読み方を学習する．（2）TOEICについては，特にリスニングを中心に，演習する．後期：（1）総合的な英語力向上を目指すが，特にコミュニケーションのための技能を伸ばし，重要な語彙や文法項目を学習する．
到達目標		1	【B4】　科学技術英語を読むために必要な語彙・文法・表現・読み方の基礎を理解する．
		2	【B3】　 TOEIC試験対策の基礎（リスニング中心）を演習し身につける．
		3	【B3】　英語による基本的なコミュニケーションができる．
		4	【B3】　正しい英語の発音ができる．
		5	【B3】　さまざまなコミュニケーション場面の，英語話者の発音を聞き取ることができる．

評価方法と基準	到達目標毎	1	科学技術英語の基礎力が身についているかどうかを中間・定期試験で評価する．
		2	TOEIC対策の基礎（リスニング中心）が身についているかどうかを，中間試験・定期試験，演習で評価する．
		3	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，各学生のコミュニケーション能力を評価する．
		4	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，学生の発音を評価する．
		5	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，学生のリスニング能力を評価する．
		6	授業中に取り扱った重要語彙，文法項目について，中間試験・定期試験で評価する．

	総合評価		成績は，試験75%　演習25%　として評価する．前期は，到達目標1・2を中間・定期試験40%，演習10%で評価する．後期は，到達目標3～5の演習15%，6の中間・定期試験35%で評価する．なお試験成績は，中間試験と定期試験の平均点とする．100点満点で60点以上を合格とする．

関連科目			本科目は，3年次英語，3年次英語演習，及び5年次英語演習に関連する．
履修上の注意事項			英和・和英辞書（電子辞書含む）を準備すること．4年前期9月分の授業内容は7月中に行う．詳細は授業中に指示する．
