授業の概要と方針			前期：（1）科学技術英語の基本的な読み方を身につける。（2）TOEICではどのような力がどのような方法で試されるのかを紹介し，対策としての学習方法理解し，実際の問題を解き演習する。後期：（1）総合的な英語力向上を目指すが，特にコミュニケーションのための技能を伸ばし，重要な語彙や文法項目を学習する。

評価方法と基準	到達目標毎	1	科学技術英語の基礎的力が身についているかどうかを中間・定期試験・レポートで評価する。
		2	TOEIC対策が身についているかどうか，中間・定期試験で評価する。
		3	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，各学生のコミュニケーション能力を評価する。
		4	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，学生の発音を評価する。
		5	授業中の質疑・応答を通して，学生のリスニング能力を評価する。
		6	授業中に取り扱った重要語彙，文法項目について，中間試験・定期試験で評価する。

	総合評価		前期は，到達目標1・2を中間・定期試験40%，レポート10%で評価する。後期は，到達目標3～5の演習15%，6の中間・定期試験35%で評価する。なお試験成績は，中間試験と定期試験の平均点とする。100点満点で60点以上を合格とする。

3	エッセイ1の復習のあと，「物体の形」を英語で表現する方法・語彙を学習する。
4	TOEIC演習1
4	TOEICについて詳しく解説した後，TOEICのための学習方法1を紹介し，演習問題等を行う。
5	科学エッセイ読解2
5	科学エッセイ2を読み，文法と語彙，読み方を学習する。
6	位置関係
6	エッセイ2の復習のあと，「位置関係」を英語で表現する方法・語彙を学習する。
7	TOEIC演習2
7	TOEIC学習方法2を紹介し，演習問題等を行う。
8	中間試験
8	これまで学習した内容について，理解度を問う。
9	レポート解説
9	課題の解説を行う。
10	科学エッセイ読解3
10	科学エッセイ3を読み，文法と語彙，読み方を学習する。
